| Vision |
- With our activities we try to reduce re-offending
- We want to create employment/self-employment opportunities for and by ex-offenders
- We will liaise and network with others for the benefit of our target group
- We will motiviate the general public to accept ex-offenders into society.
|
| The Four Objectives |
-
1. Reducing re-offending
To contribute to the reduction of re-offending by assisting and motivating ex-offenders not to commit any type of crime again.
-
2. Employment and Self-employment for and by ex-offenders
To assist, and where necessary supervise, ex-offenders in their efforts to be re-integrated into society such as providing information on access and availability of employment or self-employment opportunities. Being able to find a legal way to earn money is one of the most important priorities to reduce re-offending
-
3. Liaison and Networking with others
To develop improved structures for liaison with social institutions, locally and abroad, in order to gain insight on how other intuitions have succeeded or failed. This can help to refine and im-prove the level of knowledge and research on the way in which ex-offenders can be successfully re-integrated into society.
-
4. Motivating general public to accept ex-offenders into society
To motivate and educate communities on an on-going basis to give persons in conflict with the law an opportunity after having served a sentence and after having been subjected to correctional training by the authorities
